FRANCISTOWN: The newly elected chairperson of the Botswana National Youth Council (BNYC), Metlha Ishmael Mokwena, has his work cut out for him.

The organisation has been troubled for a long time and previous attempts to quell the situation have failed.Mokwena's task is to breathe life into the BNYC, which is one of the country's oldest and most crucial organisations.

Born on December 21, 1984 in Tonota Village which lies 40 kilometres south of Francistown, Mokwena says he is aware of the mammoth task he is faced with at the BNYC.
