FRANCISTOWN: Chairperson of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), Daniel Kwelagobe, has disagreed with some opposition leaders who feel that the country's wealth is enjoyed by a few, while the majority are toiling in abject poverty.

During BDP Tonota North victory party last Saturday in Nshakazhogwe Kwelagobe said every Motswana has a share in the country's riches. "They [opposition leaders] just want to badmouth the party," he argued.

For instance, he said all those who earn bellow P30,000 do not pay income tax but rather enjoy all the earnings with their children. "Are they not enjoying the country's riches?" Kwelagobe questioned.
