They made their schools and their families proud by being the top five performers country-wide in the just released Botswana Government Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) exam results. But who are they? The Monitor Staff Writer Chandapiwa Baputaki speaks to the BGCSE creme de la creme and their mothers

"I am quite happy with the results. I was not really expecting to be the best in the country because I found other subjects to be challenging like Statistics, Physics and Christian Religious Education as I was preparing for the exams. But I got A* in all the subjects.

"I am inspired by my mother and some of my teachers. My mother always motivated me to do the best in my studies while my teachers believed I could do it and gave me hope.
