Ten struck off voters roll in Nkange

FRANCISTOWN: Ten voters trafficked by the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) in Nkange have been removed from the voters' roll by Masunga Senior Magistrate Milidzani Masiye-Moyo.

This follows an objection by a Maitengwe South council candidate, Boy Chipaladza, to the registration of 14 voters, allegedly from Manjerengwa cattlepost in a Nata East council ward in the Nata/Gweta constituency.

But a man at the centre of the controversy has charged that the 10 were removed from the roll because they are BaSarwa.
