Teachers intimidated for striking

Some teachers going back to work are being intimidated by supervisors for having gone on strike, Mmegi has learnt.

Ministry of Education and Skills Development principal public relations officer Nomsah Zuze has cautioned that the ministry will not condone intimidation of teachers who are returning back to work by the headmasters and heads of departments.

She said the ministry has received such complaints from the teachers. "This strike was legal and when they want to go back to work it should not be a problem.
