Teachers abandon running students

If you thought Ministry of Education and teachers were touched by the recent Junior Certificate examination results, their face off at Mogoditshane Senior School over the weekend betrays them. A major sub-zonal athletics competition was abandoned on the day of the event, leaving students demoralised.

Things came to a halt when teachers who had already turned up at Mogoditshane Senior Secondary were told that they were going to be paid 50% of the overtime hours accrued while the other 50% will be compensated in kind - with days off.
