Teacher support system to improve learner performance

Addressing parliament yesterday, Minister of Education and Skills Development, Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi said learners in villages like Sojwe, Dikgatlhong and Medie are the worst performing in the district due to ineffective parent teachers associations and lack of parental interest in their education.
She said that some learners especially in Sojwe travel long distances to and from school while in most schools unavailability of support facilities such as libraries is another contributing factor.
