Taxi man shot dead in Molepolole

A 40-year-old taxi driver of Lekgwapheng ward, Molepolole was yesterday shot dead by a 33-year-old Motswana man of Indian descent in Borakalalo ward.

The motive for the killing is not yet known according to Molepolole station commander, Superintendent Benedict Matlho. Matlho said the taxi driver was on duty when he met his fate. “Investigations into the matter are ongoing to establish what really transpired. The victim was rushed to Scottish Livingstone Hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival by the doctors,” Matlho said.

The Motswana/Indian man is a native of Molepolole village but resides in Block 8, Gaborone.
