Tafa faces BNF axe

Suspended Botswana National Front (BNF) ideologist Dr Elmon Tafa, faces expulsion from the party after dismissing the party's Disciplinary committee chaired by Lemogang Ntime as a 'Kangaroo Court'.

After being summoned by the party's disciplinary committee to appear for a hearing, Tafa is understood to have written to the party's disciplinary body questioning its legitimacy.

Tafa refused to respond to Mmegi enquiries. In an interview, BNF publicity secretary, Moeti Mohwasa, confirmed that the party has been in communication with Tafa but declined to comment on the alleged heated exchanges between Tafa, and the party's disciplinary committee.
