TACA Promotes Pre-School Education

FRANCISTOWN: If things go as planned, underprivileged toddlers in Maitengwe village, located 50km North of Tutume village, will enjoy free education before the commencement of statutory education.

Twelve Apostolic Church of Alpha pre-school (TACA), came into existence chiefly to cater for the needy toddlers, as pre-education in rural areas has not kept pace, says Project Committee chairperson, Thabo Utlwang.

"Our wish is to open the pre-school next year but 65 percent will be for those who can afford to pay, while 35 percent will cater for orphans and the destitute," said Utlwang.
