The CEO and founder of Olekard, Pule Mmolotsi, told the media at the launch in Gaborone yesterday that the intelligent system is designed in such a way that an individual loads money onto the card which they can then swipe in combis and buses.
The idea is to assist people who find it difficult to save or keep transport money and for other mini-money transfer services such as cash loan payments or money swiping groceries from participating stores.
