Swimming in linguistic confusion

I positioned myself in one of the executive seats right in front with other invited guests and reporters. I wanted to give this new experience my undivided attention, especially because the Chinese historical and cultural heritage has been of interest to me.

Their infrastructure, art, food, traditional medicines, philosophies, mythologies, martial arts and music portray nothing but pristine natural beauty. Of the many foreign cultures such as the Roman, Egyptian, Indian and the Italian, the Chinese way of life has always been more fascinating to me.
