Suspected drug peddler arrested

Tlokweng police have arrested a 25-year-old man after he was found in possession of 35 sachets of dagga also known as Motokwane.

Police nabbed the suspect during an ongoing stop, question and search operation for Easter holidays. The suspect was driving alone in Tlokweng at around 2am on Saturday. In an interview with MmegiOnline, Tlokweng police station commander, Superintendent, Unoziba Rari, confirmed that the young man was found in possession of 35 sachets of dagga estimated to weigh 140 grams and two sachets of a substance suspected to be methcathinone powder popularly known as "Cat".

Rari stated that looking at its quantity they suspect that he might be selling the drugs, adding that investigations on the matter are ongoing to establish where the young man gets his supply.
