Dibete police have arrested a 32-year-old man of Gotsosa ward in Tamasane village after he was allegedly found in possession of a substance suspected to be dagga at Dibete barrier gate on Sunday.

During the search at the gate, police found and seized two wrapped substances suspected to be dagga at the front area of the car. Investigating the matter, Dibete Police Station commander, Superintendent Meshack Ranku said the suspect was heading south from north driving a private van.

"The substance is estimated to weigh two kilogrammes with a street value of P5,000 and will be taken for weighing and analysis while investigations into the matter are ongoing," Ranku said.
