Suspect weeps in court

FRANCISTOWN: A 26-year-old man facing a charge of causing unlawful wounding wept in court yesterday after he was remanded in custody. A dejected Gaone Rasegojwa continued sobbing outside court after his bail application was rejected.

 

He is in the dock for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend with a knife three times. He broke down after the magistrate remanded him for two more days to allow the prosecutor to check on the condition of the girlfriend. Rasegojwa literally begged the court to grant him bail saying that he wants to go and take care of his children.
