The business community was allegedly left disgruntled on Tuesday after they were called at the council for a third meeting in a row, which they said did not bear any fruit as it was cancelled.
According to one annoyed businessman, who chose not to identify himself, the situation is so bad they are losing their livelihood due to the closure of their businesses by the authorities.
The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case. The first leg of the primaries was held last weekend, with the final leg being billed for the coming weekend. This time around, the BDP failed to shine in its primary elections.
