Students who failed their JC will not progress to senior schools

The Ministry of Basic Education has dismissed allegations that students who have failed their Junior Certificate (JC) examinations will progress to senior secondary schools.

The ministry released a statement today dismissing reports that has been circulating on social media indicating that all students who have failed their form three will progress to senior secondary schools.

The reports also said that all form four students are expected to report to their respective schools on Tuesday January 30, 2018. The ministry said student placement has not yet been availed to schools and regional education offices as alleged on social media.
