Students intent on marketing GIPS

The newly elected Gaborone Institute of Professional Studies (GIPS) students representative council (SRC) will embark on a vigorous campaign to market the institution and sensitise the public about its activities, according to incoming president, Onkgopotse Mugende.

He said it is vital for the new SRC to sell GIPS "just like other institutions of higher learning".

Marketing the college was born out of the realisation that unlike other tertiary institutions, GIPS has remained largely unknown and the public had little knowledge about the institution and its activities.
