The date has been set for the Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) countrywide battle for the "restoration of the workers' purchasing power".

"BOFEPUSU is to engage in countrywide demonstrations on the April 11, 2011 as a night vigil to the anticipated "glory and victory of the workers power in the battle for the restoration of the workers purchasing power effective April 12, 2011," publicity secretary, Goretetse Kekgonegile says.

This is after the mediator, appointed by the Commissioner of Labour to resolve the dispute between the five unions and the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) last Friday issued a 'Failure To Settle Dispute Certificate'.
