Stray cattle are a road hazard

FRANCISTOWN: In a fatal road accident that happened along the Sir Seretse Khama highway on Friday, a 40-year-old man of Mapoka, in the North East District died after the vehicle he had been given a lift in hit a cow near Setoto cattlepost.

According to Superintendent Loeto Ramabokwa of Letlhakane, the man, who was headed to Letlhakane got a lift in a Toyota Corolla driven by a 29-year-old man from Letlhakane.

He said as the vehicle got to the Setoto cattlepost at around 8pm. It hit the cow that broke through the front windscreen and out through the back.
