Spook foils death threat

FRANCISTOWN: A 24-year-old Borolong woman breathed a sigh of relief after a 'ghost' saved her from her boyfriend who threatened to kill her.

Tatitown police said they were aware of the case that happened two weeks ago at Shashe River in Borolong. Detective Assistant Superintendent, Collar Baakile said the man, in his mid-twenties, had threatened to kill his lover after entertainment at the Savemore Bar on October 28 at night.

"He took the woman to the river where he intended to kill her. Apparently, he saw a spook before running away from the scene. He left the woman there and she ran after him," Baakile reported.
