Spate of resignations rock BCP

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has always portrayed itself as a peaceful movement, which is free of factional fighting.

But lately, the party has been rocked by a spate of resignations of key activists, particularly in Selebi-Phikwe.

Party spokesperson Taolo Lucas says they do not regard such resignations as constituting a crisis of sorts, however. Two councillors recently left the party unceremoniously.
