South Korea opens prison for foreign convicts

The number of foreigners in South Korean jails has more than doubled in the past four years to about 1,500.
The prison's director said the inmates would still be able to pursue the "Korean dream" that had led them to the country in the first place. The prison is about 100km (62 miles) south of the capital, Seoul, in Cheonan.
The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case. The first leg of the primaries was held last weekend, with the final leg being billed for the coming weekend. This time around, the BDP failed to shine in its primary elections.
