Skelemani attends AU session

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Phandu Skelemani left Gaborone for Arusha, Tanzania on Monday to attend an Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union scheduled to meet from the 6th to 7th May, 2008.

The AU Executive Council meeting will consider a Report of the High Level Panel on the Audit of the African Union which will be presented to the 11th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of Government and States in June 2008 in Sham el Sheik, Egypt.

 The council will also appoint the African Union Commissioner in charge of Rural Economy and Agriculture. Skelemani is expected back in Gaborone on Friday.
