Six perish in combi accident

FRANCISTOWN: Six people died just a kilometre from Mathangwane bridge yesterday when the 16-seater combi they were travelling in overturned.

The deceased are three men and three women. The minibus was travelling from Francistown to Tutume.

The district traffic officer for No:1 District, Pelontle Kesupile stated that the cause of the accident was a tyre burst which resulted in the driver losing control of the minibus. The driver is one of the deceased.
