How many times have we seen and heard presidents, with a hand on the Bible, utter the words "So help me, God!" as an affirmation of their dedication to upholding and protecting the constitution of their nation?It is no exaggeration that today, on a daily basis, the president of Zimbabwe, the Zimbabwe Republic Police and the Zimbabwe National Army break the laws of the land more often than any person or organised crime syndicates in that country.
These three, the Executive, the police and the army, have ganged up on the people and there are no referees.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
