Shock, pain and anger at 'ritual' murder

FRANCISTOWN: A week after one of the mostly grisly finds of a 13-year-old boy found murdered and burned at a dumpsite in Francistown, the family is still unable to get over the shock, pain and anger.

Mmegi arrived at the Block 9 on Wednesday morning to find these emotions swirling around the compound. The burial on Saturday and the subsequent arrest of suspects, Interest Tawele and the deceased's stepfather, Steve Phenyego, did not have the effect of closure for the family.

That could explain the reason why the deceased's aunt, Boitumelo Rebamono, with pain written all over her face, was given the difficult task of recounting the story of the death of the child.
