Shashe old age pensioners complain

FRANCISTOWN: Some pensioners in Shashe complained that they usually spend the whole day at the Post office waiting for their monthly old age pension.

They charged that sometimes some of them return empty handed because of insufficient money dispensed to Shashe post office. The pensioners made the claim during the come together party they organized for themselves at the post office.

A representative of the pensioners, Mothanka Mongadi, told the BotswanaPost leadership present at the party that, in cases when the money was inadequate, it takes a month for the affected pensioners to be paid.
