Seven express Serowe West interest on BPF ticket

Seven members of the Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) have expressed interest to contest the impending Serowe West constituency parliamentary seat.

If the seven candidates do not agree on a compromise this week, then the party will have to go for primary election to select the most suitable to represent them.

The Serowe West constituency post fell vacant after the former area Member of Parliament (MP), Tshekedi Khama, missed more than the stipulated three consecutive meetings without notice.
