Serowe police investigate 'suicide'

Serowe police are investigating the suspected suicide of a 34-year-old man who committed the act while he and his girlfriend were home at Mothaka lands on the outskirts of Mmashoro village.

Officer Commanding No 2 District, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said they received a report from the couple's neighbour.

"The couple's neighbour said she was busy removing weeds from her crops when she heard a scream from the deceased's girlfriend. She was crying and rushed to them," "The reporter said on arrival she found the deceased's girlfriend crying with her boyfriend hanging from the roof rafters and reported the matter to the police."
