FRANCISTOWN: Police in Serowe say they are hunting for a couple from the village’s Mmolawana Ward in connection with allegations of raping and assaulting a woman. No2 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said in an interview that the male suspect sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend on Saturday night.

Oketsang indicated that the incident occurred when the 27-year-old ex ran into her former boyfriend while walking from a night out. He explained that the victim’s ex-boyfriend then harassed and dragged her to his place where he then sexually took advantage of her.

“After raping the 27-year-old woman, his current girlfriend arrived home and found them together. The same woman then assaulted the victim without questioning anything,” he added.
