Serowe couple in possession of 'cat' worth P25,000

FRANCISTOWN: A drug dealing couple from Serowe village was found in possession of a white substance suspected to be methcathinone, an illicit drug with the street name ‘cat’.

According to No2 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said that the couple was caught red-handed with a substance suspected to be cat with a street market value of P25,000 and over P6,000 in cash.

He said that the couple was caught in different circumstances but on the same day during a recent Narcotic Flora and Fauna Investigating (NFFI) unit operation. He elaborated that the couple was arrested at their homes in Botalaote and Mere wards respectively.
