Seretse suffers double tragedy

FRANCISTOWN: Former cabinet minister and Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) central committee member, Tebelelo Seretse, suffered a double tragedy on Wednesday when she was hijacked and robbed of her ML Mercedes Benz in South Africa.

She lost her mother who died at Gaborone Private Hospital (GPH) at about the same time.Reports reaching Mmegi say the businesswoman lost money and valuables, including laptops. She was in the company of a cousin whose identity has not been established when she met her ordeal.

At the time she was hijacked and robbed, the former minister also lost her mother, Agnes Mazile, who had been hospitalised at the Gaborone Private Hospital for some time. Mazile was a businesswoman who owned Naswi Farm near Palapye.
