Seretse rubbishes SI report on CKGR

The Minister of Justice, Defence and Security, Ndelu Seretse has described the latest press statement by Survival International alleging that government is harassing Basarwa in the Central Kgalagadi Game Reserve (CKGR) as mere rubbish.

"In fact those people are racists, discriminatory, and call our people derogatory names. Why do they call Basarwa 'Bushmen'?" he charged.

"They claim to protect Basarwa. Why can't they call them with a locally acceptable name in Setswana?"  He accused the United Kingdom-based organisation of trying to justify its existence by peddling lies about Botswana and trying to dictate to the government how it should run the country.
