Little did she know that before long she would be called upon to be the lecturer for many of the students taking the course.
For five straight months, the students did not have a lecturer after the college decided not to renew one foreigner's contract in August.
That's when Matome's lecturing skills sprouted. She says she found herself having to teach the class on pattern making, garment construction, skirts and blouse making and sewing.
