Sefhophe councillor dies in car accident

SELEBI PHIKWE: Botswana Democratic Party councillor for Sefhophe Ward, Seabe Morueng, died in a car accident on Sunday morning along the Selebi Phikwe-Sefhophe road. He was 27.

The District Traffic Officer, Superintendent Bonolo Ookame, confirmed the incident, saying the deceased was alone in the car and might have lost control and hit the tree beside the road.

Botshabelo Police Officers who were on patrol in Sefhophe, found councillor Morueng trapped inside the car. He was taken to the Mmadinare Primary Hospital mortuary where he lies awaiting a post mortem.
