Sefhare man arrested for raping bartender

PALAPYE: A 28-year-old man of Sefhare was arrested on Tuesday for the rape of a 35-year-old female bartender the previous night.

The incident allegedly occurred at around 11pm after the victim knocked off from her job.  The man and a friend of his were imbibing at the bar.  They offered to walk her home when she closed up, as it was late. 

Along the way, the other man took a different direction and the suspect continued along with the victim. The woman reported that some minutes after they parted ways with the suspect’s friend, the man started fondling her.
