Second round of primaries for BNF

The Botswana National Front (BNF) has announced it will hold more primary elections this weekend.

Information from the party office states that there will be a second round of primary elections in Gantsi North, Gantsi South, Ngwaketse South, Borolong, Kgatleng West, Molepolole north, Molepolole South, Gaborone Central, Kweneng South and Mogoditshane. "The party will also launch by-elections' candidates in Serowe, Palapye and Marulamantsi," says publicity secretary, Moeti Mohwasa. In Serowe at Mokwena, party President, Otsweletse Moupo will launch Tshireletso Koee. Moupo's campaign team is composed of party secretary general, Mohammed Khan, Letlhakeng West MP, Filbert Nagafela, Paul Mosimanegape and Kanye North MP, Calvin Batsile. The campaign train is also expected to launch Sentsho Malatsi as the BNF's candidate in Palapye. 

Malatsi will on the 15th March face the ruling Botswana Democratic Party's, Master Goya and Botswana Congress Party's, James Olesitse in the up coming bye election. In Gaborone, the party's vice president, Olebile Gaborone and Gaborone West-South MP Robert Molefhabangwe, will launch Gibson Kgosiemang as the party's council candidate at Marulamantsi. They will be accompanied by fellow party men and MPs, Gordon Mokgwathi and Akanyang Magama. The party's publicity secretary, Moeti Mohwasa, has been tasked with leading another campaign team to Bothatogo/Bodibeng in the Ngami constituency. The BNF has fielded Korie Sehularo for the Bothatogo/Bodibeng. It has been revealed that the party central committee has assigned its secretary of political education, Baalakani Basiami to lead a campaign to Kgalagadi North.
