Sebina serial killer's injured victim dies

FRANCSITOWN: The daughter of an 85-year-old woman of Marobela, who was killed by an unknown assailant two weeks ago, has succumbed to injuries she suffered in the attack.

Officer Commanding Number One District, Senior Superintendent Israel Tuelo, told Mmegi yesterday that they have received a report that the 50-year-old woman, who was attacked along with her late mother, has also died.
The woman sustained serious injuries during the attack that left her mother dead and was admitted to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in a critical condition.Tuelo said the police received information about the death of the woman on Tuesday. He said police have not yet arrested anybody concerning the woman's death adding that investigations into her death and three others who were recently killed in the area are continuing.

Although villagers are adamant that a single person is responsible for the deaths, police are yet to ascertain that the suspected serial killer and rapist is the perpetrator.Tuelo appealed to members of the public with information that could lead to the arrest of the culprit(s) to come forward.
