Saleshando cautions against indiscipline

KANYE: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) president Dumelang Saleshando has warned against indiscipline, which he says is taking root in the party.

Speaking during the BCP’s 7th national elective congress held over the President’s Day holidays in Kanye, Saleshando said that some comrades no longer address their colleagues in the party with respect.

“Exchanges over social media are punctuated with abusive and sometimes outright vulgar language. We must appreciate that we are all ambassadors of the BCP, how we conduct ourselves and engage each other is a reflection of the character of our organisation. Besides, we as an organisation have a value system that we have all committed to adhere to,” he said.
