SA firm accused of unfair trading practices

Lobatse Clay Works (LCW), the face-brick manufacturing company, has accused Corobrik, its South African competitor, of unfair business practices.

 Addressing assistant Minister of Trade and Industry Duke Lefhoko, LCW sales and marketing manager Thelma Maswikiti, said although their product is of internationally recognised quality, "we continue to lose business to a foreign supplier, Corobrik".

This she said owes largely to the South African company's tendency of deliberately pricing their product way below the market price to outbid them in tendering for big projects.
