Rousing rallies at Saleshando launch

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) incumbent MP for Gaborone Central, Dumelang Saleshando, launched his campaign to retain his seat amid fanfare and strident motorcades starting Sunday morning and ending at 'Jinja' in the evening.

There was hardly any parking space as BCP supporters descended upon the youthful parliamentarian's rallies to also launch his council candidates.

Saleshando is standing against the ruling Botswana Democratic Party's, Gomolemo Motswaledi, who has also visited the constituency, pasting his portrait on the combis that shuttle between Gaborone Railway Station and 'Maru-a-Pula'.
