Roads department keeps derelict warehouse

A warehouse storing government property worth well over P2 million has been neglected for years.

Ministry of Works, Roads, and Transport spokesman, Samuel Mbaiwa, has confirmed that indeed, the Department of Roads warehouse located at Maru-a-Pula, Gaborone, has been neglected for years.

There has been no electricity for years at the facility even though the warehouse carries government computers, furniture, camping equipment, caravans and roads surveying equipment.
