Retired bishop celebrates 21st anniversary of consecration

The retired bishop was born in 1936 in Bothithong, Vryburg, South Africa where he did his primary education. From there, he went to Taung in the Northern Cape for his secondary education. He studied at St Bede's Theological College for three years before being ordained a deacon in 1959 in the diocese of Kimberly and Kuruman. He became a priest the following year in the diocese and served for 10 years.
"At the end of 1970, I was invited to come to Gaborone as a parish priest. Back then, we used the Trinity building and we belonged to the Matebeleland Diocese under Bishop Kenneth Skelton," Naledi said in an interview.
