FRANCISTOWN: As a young man playing street football with his peers in the dusty streets of Serowe, Atameleng Thaga, fell in love with the colour red.

His dream was partially fulfilled one day after listening to Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) stalwarts, Gaotlhaetse Matlhabaphiri and Pelotelele Tlhaodi addressing a political party in the Serowe mall.

Men and women clad in the BDP colours of predominantly red, had thronged the rally in their hundreds and he felt carried away by the storm.
