One of the three rape suspects who allegedly sexually assaulted three women in Letlhakane village is still on the run.

Letlhakane Police Station Commander, Michael Maphephu has sounded another appeal to the public to help find the suspect. He said they are appealing to anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the suspect to contact them or any nearest police station. The three rape suspect have been on the run since November 12 but only two of them were nabbed by the police a week ago. It is alleged that on November 12 the trio, aged between 20 and 21 years, allegedly raped three women who were walking from a bar at night. Additionally, it was reported that the suspects hid behind a hedge in one of the passages in Tawana ward and dragged the victims to one of the culprit’s home and sexually assaulted them.

Maphephu told this publication earlier that the two suspects were arrested in a house belonging to one of them at Tawana ward. “As the investigation of this matter is still ongoing, we are appealing to the public to come forward with information that can be helpful so that the third suspect can be taken to task,” the Letlhakane police chief concluded.
