Ramotswa police overwhelmed by Zimbos-Commander

As the police enforce the presidential decree to curb drunkenness nationwide, criminals are running wild in the outskirts of Ramotswa, mainly in the farmlands (masimo).

BaLete swear by their ancestors that the rapes, assaults, armed robberies and theft of livestock and vehicles are the work of Zimbabweans. Added to this is cross-border drug trafficking that goes on through the porous Botswana border with South Africa.

Ramotswa Police Station Commander, Superintendent Sarah Gabathuse, says she and her officers are not fence-sitting. Infact, she says, there is hardly a fence to sit on even if they were of that inclination because what runs between Ramotswa and Moshaneng Village in South Africa is not really a fence.
