Ramaphatle Gets Primary School - At Last

Parents at Ramaphatle settlement in Kweneng District were overjoyed last Friday when finally a new P8 million primary school was opened in their village.

The school opened its doors to standards One to Four amid ululations from hundreds of parents who came to witness the transfer of pupils from Nkwane Primary School in Thamaga.

The school project had been in the development plan since 2004, and its completion has thus ushered in a new era for the pupils who have been walking nine kilometres to and from Thamaga where they were schooling.
