Ramaotwana takes leave of absence

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana National Front (BNF) Youth League (BNFYL) president Nelson Ramaotwana has denied reports that he has resigned from the party organ with immediate effect.

"That's not true. I have decided to take a month's leave of absence from the operations of the BNFYL and of course the BNF central committee, which I attend by virtue of my being the BNFYL president," explained Ramaotwana yesterday. He has taken the whole month off from yesterday to November 30, when he will resume his duties before the youth conference on December 1.

Ramaotwana, who is also the Gaborone Village ward councillor, has taken the 30-day leave to concentrate on the two law subjects he is currently taking at the University of Botswana (UB) to fulfill the requirements of the LLB degree.
