Queen Elizabeth's daughter to visit

The British High Commission has announced that The Princess Royal, Anne, will come to Botswana on a two-day official visit on July 4-5.

The visit is intended to reinforce the friendship and good cooperation between the governments of Botswana and the United Kingdom. The visit will be the Princess Royal's third official visit to Botswana, having previously visited in 1999 and 2003.

The Princess's programme will include visits to a number of charitable and community projects within Gaborone and the surrounding area. Her Royal Highness will also be guest of honour at the British High Commission's annual Queen's Birthday Party and have an audience with President Ian Khama.  Says the British High Commissioner, Jennifer Anderson:
